The 2022 4 Clones Pinot Noir displays a lovely garnet colour and offers a complex bouquet that speaks to clonal diversity. Bright red fruit notes of wild strawberry and cranberry blend seamlessly with deeper spiced cherry, subtle damp earth (sous-bois), and a delicate perfume of rose petal and black tea. It is medium-bodied with a beautiful tension between vibrancy and silkiness on the palate. The core is pure, focused red fruit, underpinned by nuanced savory and spicy elements. The tannins are fine-grained and delicate, making the wine immediately charming, while the focused acidity provides a long, energetic finish. This is an elegant and finely detailed Pinot Noir, making it highly food-versatile.
