2015 SEMILLON
YARRA VALLEY
The 2015 Semillon displays notes of tropical fruits and honey. This is the last wine produced by Shantell Winery owners Shan and Turid. Great food wine – especially seafood.
VINEYARD
Situated at 150m above sea level, planted in the early 1980s. Similar to the Homeblock, the Melba block vines are all cared for by hand, 100% cane pruned to ensure best quality fruit is grown and hand harvested.
WINEMAKING
100% handpicked in March 2015. Crush and destemmed with wild yeast fermentation. Matured in stainless tank
